I love the way you articulated this with optimism. I, on the other hand, hang out with friends who are into alcohol, even though I do not enjoy it. I have a hard time expressing myself, at times. Some of them are struggling with the same, caught in a social circle and unable to escape the common social habit. I love how you pointed out the feeling of 'ethical and moral failure'. Honestly, that's how I feel at times. Drinking is a taboo in my culture and nobody in my immediate family drinks or smokes.
